Hot Pot and Iron Point are two neighboring projects located on privately owned land in Humboldt County, Nevada, about 170 miles east of Reno.

The projects, which are owned and being developed by Primergy, total 600-megawatts AC (MWac) of solar paired with 600 MWac of battery storage capacity.

Iron Point is a 250 MWac solar project paired with 250 MWac of battery storage, and Hot Pot is a 350 MWac solar project paired with 350 MWac of battery storage. Both projects are expected to reach commercial operation in 2029.

Together, the projects are expected to create approximately 550 prevailing wage construction jobs at peak construction, and generate approximately $70 million in property tax revenue over the lifetime of the project.
